2015 Ownership Change

 

For the first time, Temuka Pottery is uncoupled from parent company New Zealand Insulators. Now owned by two families, the focus for Temuka Pottery shifts to supplying ‘high-end’ tableware to restaurants and hotels.

 

Production is relocated to Palmerston North.

 

Temuka Pottery ceases production of all hand painted pottery. Several original Temuka Pottery shapes continue to be supplied to 100% Homemade who continue to produce hand decorated and customised pottery for sale in their independent store in Temuka.

 

2015 The Classic Coupe tableware range is released, and intense development of new glaze effects begins.
